Crittenton Services Inc. plans to coat the city of Wheeling with the color pink as it plans its 10th
annual Paint the Town Pink gala this spring.

The Paint the Town Pink gala is Crittenton Services' largest fundraiser of the year, helping the organization raise money to help young women, children and families in need.

According to a release from Crittenton Services, the Wheeling Artisan Center and the city of Wheeling will be decorated in shades of pink in March.

"Over the past decade, this event has grown, and every year it gets better," said Kathy Szafran, CEO and president of Crittenton. "We are so proud of what we do as an agency, and we love to share that mission with hundreds of those in the community in such a beautiful setting."

The gala will be 7 p.m. March 16 at the Wheeling Artisan Center. It will feature a dinner prepared by Chef Rocco Basil and entertainment by the band "Redline." It also will include a silent
auction of gift baskets filled with everything from weekend getaways to wine tastings to spa
packages.

Guests who purchase event tickets will have the opportunity to also buy pre-party tickets for "The Pinks of the Past," which will be held in the Atrium section of the Wheeling Artisan Center beginning at 6 p.m. the night of the event.

In addition, the event will feature a raffle for a $2,500 travel voucher from Uniglobe Travel. Raffle tickets cost $10 each.

Tickets for Paint the Town Pink cost $100 each, and can be purchased by contacting Crittenton Services at 304-242-7060. Ticket price includes appetizers, dinner, drinks and entertainment. All proceeds benefit the Crittenton Foundation.

The title sponsor for 2013 is the Christian Fellowship Foundation, which also supported the event in 2012. Others sponsors currently include BB&T, Bordas & Bordas, Commonwealth Financial
Service, Consol Energy, the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston, Highmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield,
Lowe's, Main Street Bank, and Paull Associates. Our media sponsors are Clear Channel Radio, Comcast and WTRF. Additional sponsorship opportunities are still available.

Crittenton Services Inc. is a locally operated non-profit agency formed in 1895. Formerly known as the Florence Crittenton Home, the agency has evolved from its initial identity as a home for "wayward" women to a group that helps children and families in need.
