As the Mountain State prepares to celebrate its 150th birthday, the Putnam County Public Library is offering a challenge to the community.
They are asking local book worms to read 150 books to mark the event. It is a year long project. The books can be read by an individual, a team, a family or a book club. Teams can have up to 15 people.
They can be any kind of books too. The only requirement is that the books be read between January 1 and December 31, 2013.
Anyone wishing to join in on the project can choose a team name and a team leader. They will be asked to fill out a registration form and take it to the library.
