Boone County Sheriff's deputies arrested a man from Ridgeview, after he was found with a 14-year-old Kentucky girl he met online.
Kentucky authorities alerted Boone County officials of the situation.
Deputies arrested Robert W. Stringer, 25, Tuesday evening on charges of custodial interference, which is a felony in Kentucky.
The investigation shows that Stringer had an online relationship with the juvenile female, which resulted in Stringer picking up the girl from school earlier this week and taking her back to his Boone County home.
Sheriff Randall White says, "It is a very real possibility that we will have criminal charges filed in Boone County in the coming days on Mr. Stringer. The investigation is continuing and we are looking into what sort of violations of the law have been committed here in our county".
