Wednesday's continuous rain caused some flooding problems in Lincoln county.
Lincoln county officials say flooding has closed several roads near the Hamlin area including Four Mile road, Sugar Tree at Syracuse, Donahue Branch, Pinky Branch and outlying back roads.
"Most of our concern is water puddling in the roads we've had a lot of officers out trying to slow them down keeping them from hitting at a high rate of speed." Hamlin Police Chief Chris Wilkenson said.
Two men were rescued by firefighters when their truck got stuck in high water.
Crews used boats to get them to safety.
Officials say they will monitor the situation throughout the night.
