A family is lucky after a huge tree falls on their house crushing the porch.

This morning's high winds caused a fifty foot pine tree split in half and fall on a house on Clemm street in Huntington.

Neighbors say a family with small children live at the house.

Most of the damage was limited to the back porch and roof areas.

Neighbors say they have wanted the city to remove the trees for two years.

City workers were at the scene today to survey the damage.

No one was injured.
