A Mercer County man pleaded guilty in federal court to distribution of hydromorphone, according to a news release from U.S. Attorney Booth Goodwin.

Trusby Hubbard, 34, admitted to selling hydromorphone pills to a confidential information at his Bluefield residence in August 2012.

Hubbard faces up to 20 years in prison and a $1 million fine when he is sentenced on April 26.

The Southern Regional Drug and Violent Crime Task Force handled the investigation.
