SOUTH CHARLESTON, West Virginia -

By the spring, the era of renting movies from something other than a kiosk in Kanawha County will be over.

Blockbuster is closing their remaining locations in South Charleston and Saint Albans by April 9.

The South Charleston location will stop rentals later this month and close its doors by the April deadline. Employees at the Saint Albans location say their location will close along the same timeline, although no timeline has been made.

The nearest Blockbuster to Kanawha County will be in Teays Valley.
