Three escape massive fire in a home on Walnut Street in Kanawha County
Belpre Police, along with the Major Crimes Task Force, arrested two people at a home along the 700 block of Elm Street in Belpre, Ohio around 2 a.m. Saturday.
According to police, an undercover operative purchased five grams of crack cocaine at the home, which is when police were able to get a search warrant.
During the search, police found numerous pills, a crack pipe, and marijuana. Police also say two 17-year-old juveniles were present.
Kenneth Stephens, of Parkersburg, W. Va. has been charged with trafficking crack cocaine in the amount of greater than five grams, in the presence of a juvenile.
Keri Ann LaFatch of Belpre, Oh. was also arrested for possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia, after admitting the crack pipe was hers.
LaFatch also has is being held on an outstanding warrant from Athens County, Oh. for possession of cocaine.
Both suspects were taken to the Washington County Jail pending a bond hearing in Marietta Municipal Court scheduled for Monday, February 4.
