PAINT CREEK, West Virginia -

Shoveling snow can be a hassle for many of us during the winter months.

But a young man in Paint Creek enjoys picking up a shovel and heading outside to help his neighbors.

Sam Vealey is only 12 years old. But when the weather gets bad he picks up a shovel and helps clear snow from the roads, sidewalks, porches or anything in the neighborhood that is covered.

"It is fun for me," Vealey said. "It gives me something to do and they don't have to do it."

In the summer months Vealey helps too. He says sometimes he mows lawns in the neighborhood with a push mower.
