Spring Valley senior running back and linebacker Elijah Wellman is going to play his college ball at West Virginia.

Wellman made it official Wednesday afternoon in front of family and friends.

He was recruited by Marshall, Bowling Green, UNC Charlotte and Ohio, but chose WVU over Marshall because he wanted to play in the competitive Big 12.
