CHARLESTON -

Three attorneys from a small Charleston firm have received high marks in a recent peer review. 

Martindale-Hubbell, a network for legal professionals, recognized Damon L. Ellis, Bernie Layne and Jonathan R. Mani in the review. 

The three attorneys at Mani Ellis & Layne PLLC received an AV overall peer rating, scoring 4.9 out of 5 in personal injury litigation and Social Security. 

The attorneys received a 4.9 in legal knowledge, analytical capabilities and judgment, a 5 in communication ability and a 4.8 in legal experience. 

In Martindale-Hubbell's peer review, members of the judiciary and other bar members rate attorneys on their ethical standards, their legal ability and areas of practice, according to the institution's web site.
