RICHEYVILLE, Pa. (AP) - Police say a 2-year-old girl who was kidnapped in West Virginia has been found safe at a home in southwestern Pennsylvania, and a suspect is in custody.
Authorities say 23-year-old Timothy Adam White stole a car with the toddler inside from a gas station in Reedsville just before noon Friday. She was found four hours later at a home in Richeyville, about 40 miles south of Pittsburgh. Pennsylvania state police say the girl was unharmed.
Police said late Friday they arrested White near West Mifflin, Pa., after a car chase. They say he's being evaluated at a hospital.
Police say the motive is unclear.
