Three hundred fifty college presidents stirred the pot on gun control this week.

They met with other gun control advocates and the media, discussing the intent of an open letter signed by members of College Presidents for Gun Safety.

In the letter the group asks lawmakers to oppose legislation that would allow for guns to be carried on any school campus, elementary or college.

They're also asking for reinstatement of the assault weapons ban and more safety measures on guns.
