Detroit man admits to selling oxycodone pills in Huntington

A Detroit man pleaded guilty in federal court to selling oxycodone, according to a news release from U.S. Attorney Booth Goodwin.

Robert Louis Smith, 40, admitted to selling oxycodone pills to a confidential informant in March 2010.

Huntington Police later pulled him over and arrested him on drug charges.

Smith faces up to 20 years in prison and a $1 million fine when he is sentenced on May 13.

The Drug Enforcement Administration and the Huntington Police Department handled the investigation.
