According to Putnam County Sheriff Steve Deweese, police are searching for two suspects they believe stole credit cards and fraudulently used the cards.
Sheriff Deweese says that between Jan. 15 and Jan. 16 two males entered Rolling Acres in Winfield and broke into a vehicle. Three credit cards were taken from the vehicle.
Police then believe the two suspects traveled to the Pilot Truck Stop in Nitro around 4:22 a.m. and made purchases totally $69.92.
After leaving the truck stop, it is believed they traveled west on I-64 and stopped at the McDonalds in Hurricane and made another purchase on the cards.
Around one and half hours later a purchase was made on the cards in KY.
Police say if caught the two men face one charge of breaking and entering and two charges of fraudulent use of a credit card.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Putnam County Sheriff's Office at 304-586-0256 or dispatchers at 304-586-0214.
