Jarrett Construction Services has hired five new employees at its headquarters at 1605 Virginia St. E.

Bill Long and Chris Brumfield are project managers; Billy Crede and Lori Rucker are project manager assistants; and Tim Wilson is a LEED-accredited project manager.

Long has more than 13 years' experience in residential and commercial estimating, purchasing and construction administration. He is an honors graduate of the former Marshall University Community and Technical College, having earned an associate's degree in business management in 1995. 

Brumfield brings five years of commercial, industrial and highway construction experience to Jarrett. In 2012, he earned a bachelor of science degree in engineering, with an emphasis on civil engineering, from Marshall University. He lives in Huntington.

Crede, a Kanawha County native, began working for Jarrett as a part-time laborer last year and became a manager trainee with an emphasis in accounting and estimating. 

He earned a bachelor's degree in finance and economics from Marshall University. He is a longtime volunteer with community service organizations including Adopt a Highway and Habitat for Humanity.

Rucker, an Amma resident, brings more than 18 years' experience in contract administration to Jarrett. She is a 2011 graduate of Kanawha Valley Community and Technical College, where she earned an associate's degree in applied science. 

Wilson has spent more than 24 years in the consulting, design and construction industry. Born in Ypsilanti, Mich., Wilson grew up in Wayne County and now lives in Ashton. He studied at the West Virginia Institute of Technology, where he majored in survey and civil engineering.

His background includes all disciplines of project management for several companies across the country and in locations worldwide. He has been involved in commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects and has extensive experience in all phases of site development, construction and operations with specialized experience in heavy environmental remediation and regulatory compliance. 

Jarrett, formed in 1999, offers planning, construction management, design-build, general construction and estimating services to the commercial and light industrial industries.
