St. Mary's Medical Center has selected two new clinical managers.
Registered nurse Samantha Casella Spitzer has been named the clinical manager on Medical-Surgical-3/Urology Unit while Jamie Marshall has been named to that role for the new Medical-Surgical-1 Unit.
The Proctorville, Ohio, resident earned her associate's and bachelor's degrees in nursing from the University of Rio Grande. She worked as a staff nurse in the St. Mary's Cath Lab before becoming an assistant professor of nursing at Rio Grande. She returned to St. Mary's earlier this year to work in the resource center.
Marshall earned her associate degree in nursing in 2000 from Shawnee State University and is enrolled at Ohio University, where she is pursuing her bachelor's degree. She was previously employed at Tri-State Allergy, but has been working with St. Mary's since 2002 on both the skilled nursing and pulmonary units.
