A Hinton man was sentenced to four years in federal prison for having more than 600 images and videos of child pornography.
Alan Grimmett, 51, admitted to having the illegal material on his computer in June 2011.
"Crimes that involve the exploitation of children are repulsive, plain and simple," said U.S. Attorney Goodwin in a news release about the sentence. "These types of cases have been a top priority for my office and we will continue to work tirelessly to ensure that the criminals are punished."
This case was brought about by Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide program that combats child sexual exploitation.
