CHARLESTON -
The average cost of gas at the pump was $3.86, according to a new report from AAA.
These prices climbed an average 16 cents in a week, following a national trend. The national average is $3.75, up 15 cents in a week and 45 cents in February.
Wyoming drivers are paying the least with $3.19 and Alaskan drivers are paying the most at an average $4.29 per gallon.
"High oil prices, regional refinery issues, speculation and the approaching switchover to summer-blend gasoline have played a role in the rising gasoline costs," according to the AAA.
