A suspect in the robbery of an Ashland, Kentucky motel in October 2012, has been arrested in Charleston.
The Ashland Police Department said that it got a tip that Jamar Robinson could be in the Charleston area. Investigators turned the information over to Deputy U.S. Marshal Mike Blackburn of the Ashland Field Office, who in turn coordinated with the Marshal's office in Charleston.
Robinson was arrested earlier on Tuesday in Charleston. He was awaiting extradition in the South Central Regional Jail.
Robinson is accused of robbing the Ashland Inn at gunpoint.
