Robin Rowe has joined St. Mary's Medical Center as director of patient experience.

Rowe has more than 25 years of health care management experience. In her new role, she will promote a comprehensive, personalized approach to patient satisfaction by leading, educating, and promoting unity of efforts within clinical and administrative teams. 

She is a Huntington native and a graduate of Marshall University.

In other news at the hospital, registered nurse Angela Midkiff has been named the new clinical manager of behavioral health. 

Midkiff has been the interim clinical manager since July. She has been with St. Mary's since April 2002, working as a behavioral health staff nurse and as both an LPN and RN in other departments of the medical center.

As the clinical manager for behavioral health, Midkiff will directly manage the behavioral health nursing staff under the direction of director, David Frazier. 

Midkiff earned her RN license in 2006 after completing the LPN to BSN program at Mountain State University. She received her LPN license in 1999 after completing the practical nursing program with Cabell County Career Technology Center.

Meanwhile, registered nurse Barbie Price has moved into a new position at St. Mary's as clinical manager of interventional radiology. 

She is a 1990 graduate of St. Mary's School of Nursing. She has been employed as a staff nurse at St. Mary's, working in interventional radiology from 1995 to 2005 and the cardiac catheterization lab from 2005 to 2012. 

The Ashland, Ky., resident earned her bachelor's degree in 2008 from University of North Alabama and completed her master's in nursing in June from Walden University. She worked as a nursing instructor for the University of Rio Grande from 2009 to 2012.
