A ceremony to honor the heroic deputy and troopers that were involved in the tragedy last August in Clay County will happen at the West Virginia State Capitol at noon on Monday.
Deputy Westfall, along with tow truck driver who called 911, will be there with their families
Corporal Marshal Bailey and Trooper Eric Workman were killed in the line of duty during a traffic stop last August.
The West Virginia Sheriffs' Association is inviting people to attend a special gathering at the State Capitol to honor the fallen troopers.
Roane County Deputy John Westfall and tow truck driver Frank Massey were also hurt during the shootout.
Both men and their families will also be at the ceremony.
