Verizon Wireless has expanded its 4G LTE throughout the Tri-State area, according to a press release.
Coverage has been expanded North of Charleston to the Kanawha and Jackson Counties line, Northeast of Huntington, and in Proctorville, Ohio.
"Our 4G LTE network provides customers across the country with the best wireless experience possible, enabling them to stay in touch like never before – uploading, downloading and connecting online with speeds up to 10 times faster than 3G," said Mark Frazier, President of Ohio, Penn., W. Va. Region, Verizon Wireless, in the release. "We were the first to bring 4G LTE to West Virginia in major cities including Wheeling, Charleston and Huntington. As we continue to expand and enhance our 4G LTE network, our customers will be able to see, firsthand, the innovations that are being brought to market through 4G LTE technology."
Verizon Wireless first introduced 4G LTE to Charleston in 2011.
