Someone broke a window and opened a fire escape, then trashed a classroom. Deer urine was spilled all over the floor and a desk. Workers also found rancid dead deer parts in the hallway and blood on the floors.

At about 1:00 a.m. on May 17, Hamlin police were called to Barbara Apartments in Hamlin where they found Holly Roberts and James Randolph "passed out" in a Grand Prix with an 18-month-old in the back seat.

A Huntington man is behind bars after police say he was selling marijuana Friday.
The neighborhoods around the State Capitol complex in Charleston were plunged into darkness on Monday evening. It happened at about 9:30 p.m. when the lights went out on the city's east end.
Kanawha County Metro 911 dispatchers said there were reports that a transformer had blown, causing the power outage.
