Attorneys Philip B. Sword, David L. Shuman Jr. and John Blanc have joined the law firm of Shuman, McCuskey and Slicer.
Sword represents companies and government agencies in cases involving catastrophic loss, wrongful death and civil rights litigation.
He also is a Criminal Justice Act Panel attorney and practices criminal defense. He is working in the firm's Charleston office.
Shuman represents professionals, insurance companies and state agencies in cases involving personal injury, professional liability, wrongful death and civil rights litigation. He also will work from the firm's Charleston office.
Blanc worked briefly in the banking and customer service industries before obtaining his regents bachelor of arts degree from Shepherd University in 2008.
He then to attended the West Virginia University College of Law, graduating in 2012. He is working in the firm's Morgantown office.
