WILLIAMSON -
A new project is set to start this week in southern West Virginia to make the area more sustainable.
The Williamson Redevelopment Authority and the city of Williamson are working together on the campaign, which kicks off Friday.
The national collaboration is being called Sustainable Williamson.
Part of the plan is to create new jobs, improve access to healthy foods and physical activity, and help workers improve their skills. They are also hoping to add some new jobs to the market in the area.
