State Fire Marshal's are investigating a fire that happened last night around 8 p.m. on Crooked Creek Road in Logan, W. Va.
According to family members, two people lived in the home, but both the elderly man who resided on the first floor and the resident on the second were able to make it out alright.
The two-story brick home was a total loss. No word on what caused the fire. Firefighters say there were no smoke detectors in the house.
