According to investigators in the case, Todd Honaker will appear in court for his preliminary hearing Tuesday at 10 a.m.

Roane County Sheriff's Deputies arrested Todd Honaker on Saturday, March 1, in connection to his wife's death.

Additional information has been obtained by 13NEWS from Roane County Deputies.

The Honakers had one child together, and Renee had a second child from a previous relationship.  Deputies say the children were not at home at the time of her death.

A second suspect was also arrested Saturday in connection with the murder.  Chad Renzelman, 32, was arrested in Kennewick, WA, on Saturday, March 1. Renzelman is charged with being a fugitive from justice in Washington. He's also charged with first degree murder and conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance in Roane County, WV.

According to investigators, officers found correspondence at the home linking Renzelman to the Honakers.

Investigators then sent that information to Police in Washington, who obtained a search warrant for Renzelman's home.   There they found at least 100 hits of LSD.  Investigators say LSD was the drug that killed Renee Honaker.

Deputies say Renzelman has a Masters degree in Chemistry, worked at a nuclear facility, and has a government security clearance.

Roane County deputies are going to be going to Washington in the next few days to retrieve Renzelman and bring him back to be tried here.
