The Arlington in Naples, FL Receives Approval for Health Center
Naples, FL (PRWEB) March 06, 2013
The Arlington of Naples has received approval from the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) to construct 44 skilled nursing suites in Collier County for the benefit of residents of the Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) being developed on the same campus. AHCA issued a Certificate of Need, required before any skilled nursing accommodations can be built, on February 13.
The Arlington is southwest Florida's first faith-based CCRC and includes 132 independent living apartments and 43 stand-alone villas along with the health care pavilion. Located in Lely Resort, the CCRC will offer multiple dining venues, a fitness and aquatics center, a cultural arts center, library, classrooms, walking trails and easy access to golf, tennis and restaurants. The availability of health care and rehabilitation on campus provides both convenience and peace of mind for residents and their families.
The health care pavilion will include the 44 approved private skilled nursing suites along with 42 one- and two-bedroom assisted living apartments and 37 private memory-support suites. The Arlington plans to obtain Medicare certification for a portion of the nursing suites for sort-term rehabilitation and will have state-of-the-art rehabilitation facilities on the campus.
The Arlington is one of six campuses that are part of Lutheran Life Communities, a not-for-profit, faith-based senior living organization with more than 121 years of experience. All of Lutheran Life Communities’ campuses welcome residents of all faiths. Based in Arlington Heights, Illinois, Lutheran Life Communities was asked by a group of Naples and Marco Island churches to consider developing a faith-based CCRC in the area.
