Kanawha County Sheriff's Deputies arrested four men in connection with the manufacturing of methamphetamine Wednesday night.

Captain Sean Crosier of the Kanawha County Sheriff's Office told 13NEWS Robert Jarvis, Roy Shawn Pittman, Thomas Huffman, and David Moore, all of the Pinch area, were those taken into custody.

Crosier said, "Jarvis has been a long-time thorn in law enforcement's side.  Especially when it comes to meth.  This is his second arrest on meth related charges in six months."

When Deputies arrived at Jarvis' home on Broadlawn Terrace in Pinch, they say Jarvis was in the process of making the substance.

Crosier said Deputies are stepping up patrols in communities on the Elk River.  This comes on the heels on an increase in breaking and enterings in the area.

Crosier said those crimes are most likely also drug related.

All four suspects are being held at South Central Regional Jail.
