A man facing murder charges pleaded not guilty in Lawrence county court today.

According to the prosecutors office, Rodney Delawder is charged with murder, felonious assault, and firing a gun into a house.

The charges stem from his alleged fight with relatives in Coal Grove that left one man dead from a gunshot wound.

The Lawrence county Sheriff says Delawder fired a shotgun through the back door of his brother-in-law's house on Route 243 following the fight.

His pre-trial hearing is set for March 20.
