Fifth-seeded
Logan (16-9) earned its first-ever state tournament win and will meet
top-seeded Spring Valley in Friday's semifinals. Logan is in the
tournament for the first time since 2000.
Logan broke the
game open with a 13-3 run to start the fourth quarter. Kyra Cline's
3-pointer with 5:32 left gave Logan a 65-54 lead.
Logan shot 57 percent from the field for the game, including 5-of-10 from 3-point range.
Logan's Monica Mitchell finished with 18 points and 17 rebounds, while Hannah Tothe had 11 points.
McKenzie
Akers and Hannah Preservati had 17 points apiece for fourth-seeded
Princeton (19-6). Jessica Inman scored 12 and Marissa Mullins added 10.
