No. 3 Nicholas County got past No. 6 North Marion in the Class AA quarterfinals of the WVSSAC state basketball tournament.
Nicholas County defeated North Marion, 47-42.
The Grizzlies move on to face No. 2 Bridgeport in the semifinals on Friday at 11:15 a.m.
The winner of that game will advance to the Class AA state championship.
