One firearm bill currently circulating through the halls of the capital takes away control from cities and counties trying to combat crime, while another asserts that federal gun laws should have no bearing in West Virginia.
Which is it?
The feds should have no say, yet we must have top-down legislation that dictates how Charleston or Huntington or Wheeling tries to fight crime?
Once again, our elected leaders are putting politics over good governance.
