At about 1:00 a.m. on May 17, Hamlin police were called to Barbara Apartments in Hamlin where they found Holly Roberts and James Randolph "passed out" in a Grand Prix with an 18-month-old in the back seat.

A Huntington man is behind bars after police say he was selling marijuana Friday.
FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) - A panel that investigates the deaths and near deaths of children in abuse and neglect cases now has the official backing of the General Assembly.
Gov. Steve Beshear created the panel last year by executive order. But the Legislature on Tuesday passed a bill that would establish the panel under law as well as its authority to access records.
Beshear is expected to the sign the bill, having called for it in this year's State of the Commonwealth speech.
The panel just recently began to review cases. But the files it has reviewed are heavily redacted, leading panel members to ask for more access to information.
The panel also is tasked with making recommendations to improve investigations of child abuse cases.
