A Charleston man
is charged with operating a meth lab in Boone
County with two young children in the
home.
Robert Stamper, 35, is charged with two counts of child neglect and operating a
meth lab.
State Police investigators went to a Bloomingrose address where they had
information about a meth lab being operated.
Inside, they found two "shake and bake" meth labs and Stamper hiding
in a closet. According to court documents, Stamper was wanted in Kanawha
County and "knew we was [sic]
going to find the lab."
Two children, ages 3 and 11 months old were taken from the home.
