CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - Brandon Knapper scored 16 points, Rashaud Kincade added 15 points and South Charleston beat Morgantown 48-39 in the Class AAA quarterfinals Thursday night.
The third-seeded Black Eagles (24-2) will meet No. 2 Woodrow Wilson in Friday's semifinals. South Charleston returns to the semifinals for the first time since 2010.
A.D. Cunningham added 10 points and 11 rebounds for South Charleston.
Nathan Adrian had 17 points and 17 rebounds for sixth-seeded Morgantown (19-7).
South Charleston came from 10 points down midway through the second quarter. The Black Eagles went ahead to stay, 36-33, on a Kincade 3-pointer with 3 seconds left in the third quarter.
After an Adrian layup brought Morgantown within 42-39 with 2:28 left in the game, South Charleston scored the final six points, including four by Knapper.
