A $500 fine and up to a year in jail, that's the penalty that 14-year-old Jared Marcum, who was arrested after refusing to change his NRA shirt, could face, now that a judge has allowed the prosecution to move forward with it's obstructing an officer charge against him.
Charles Matthew Cooper was arrested early this morning after an investigation into texts and video chats police say he had with two young girls.
The arrest comes after police in Adams County, where the 13 and 14-year-old girls lived, notified West Virginia police that he was in the Huntington area.
Cooper is about to be arraigned on charges of distribution of obscene material to minors and solicitation of a minor via a computer.
Police say Cooper first met the girls on Facebook.
