A man is on the run and considered armed and dangerous according to authorities with the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office.

A Wheelersburg bank robbery is now being followed by a manhunt.
U.S. Bank on Center Street was robbed Thursday afternoon, according to a release from the Scioto County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies are looking for a white man who was wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans with holes, a white ski mask and black shoes. The sheriff's office has released photos of the man during the robbery. The man was seen leaving the bank on foot going in the direction of Ohio River Road.
The amount of money taken was not released and no injuries were reported.
