A $500 fine and up to a year in jail, that's the penalty that 14-year-old Jared Marcum, who was arrested after refusing to change his NRA shirt, could face, now that a judge has allowed the prosecution to move forward with it's obstructing an officer charge against him.
An Upshur County man accused of abducting a teenager and her daughter was charged with one additional count of sexual abuse. Margel Tenney, 57, will appear in court on Friday, March 22, for a preliminary hearing.
Tenney was already facing two counts of sexual abuse from a prior incident in Lewis County. A third count in Upshur County was also added.
The state police said the charges do not involve the girls he's accused of abducting but that more charges are pending.
Tenney is in the Tygart Valley Regional Jail with bail set at $250,000.
