Two West Virginia men were arrested in Athens County, Ohio after Sheriff's deputies spotted fake license plates and found a mobile meth lab during a traffic stop along US 33 in Athens.

During a search of the vehicle deputies found chemicals and a jar containing liquid with a high concentration of ammonia consistent with meth making. Deputies also found lithium batteries, stained coffee filters, propane, and butane tanks.

Deputies arrested Harley B. Mollohan, of Charleston and William D. Gunnoe, of St Albans. They are charged with illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacturing of drugs. They were taken to Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail.

Both Mollohen and Williams have a criminal record for meth.
