A string of suspicious fires from May of 2011 to June of 2012 had neighbors in Summersville concerned for their property and for their safety.
According to a news release, two men have been arrested in connection to a bank robbery which happened on March 14, at the US Bank in Wheelersburg, Ohio.
Detectives with the Scioto County Sheriff's Office detained Paul Charles, 40, for a probation violation in Portsmouth, Ohio on March 15. Police now suspect Charles was the driver during the bank robbery.
Detectives received information on the suspect vehicle and the bank robber. Police searched several locations, including a rented house located on Washington Blvd. in West Portsmouth. Detectives then discovered the suspect vehicle at a home in Portsmouth on March 17.
Detectives along with deputies surrounded the house and arrested Todd M. Williams, 33, of Birch Hollow. Williams has been charged with robbery and his bond has been set at $75,000.
Charles was charged with a probation violation and complicity to robbery and is being held without bond.
