A man who made his
step-son eat his own feces is now headed to prison.
Josh C. Jones, 34, was
sentenced March 13 to seven years in prison, according to documents from the
Lawrence County Court of Common Pleas.
Jones pleaded guilty to felony
child endangerment from abuse that took place several years ago. According to
the complaint the child was forced to eat his own feces, as well as other forms
of abuse including being choked and objects being thrown at his head.
13News spoke to prosecuting
attorney Brigham Anderson who said Jones was very remorseful and confessed to
his actions.
Authorities
were able to find out about the abuse through the child, who initially reported
it.
