HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Chirs Martin, a sophomore guard on the Marshall men's basketball team has informed head coach Tom Herrion that he will transfer following the spring semester.

"Chris is a terrific young man." Herrion said. "We thank him for his contributions to our program over the past two years and wish him all the best in his future."

Martin, from Upper Marlboro, Md., averaged 3.1 points while playing 15.1 minutes per game this season.
