Leaders of Rish Equipment Co. recognized its top sales representatives last month at the company's annual awards banquet. The event, held at Glade Springs Resort, also spotlighted how manufacturers and other local businesses contribute to Rish's success.

Antonio Selario won the company's Highest Sales Volume Award, while Bob Weikle earned the Highest Market Share in West Virginia Award. 

Selario, Weikle, John Rocca, Rock Mullenax, Todd Kyle and Paul Clower each accepted the company's Market Share Award while Kyle, Ian MacFarlane, Paul Calvert and Chip Bohlen were given the Sales Quota Award.

Representatives from a number of Rish's manufacturers also attended the banquet including Komatsu, Atlas Copco, Dynapac, LeeBoy, NPK, ESCO and Hensley.

Local business were represented, including Frank Wilkinson of First Century Bank, Bob Bidinger of PNC Bank, Richard Tilson of Sentry Insurance and Mike Smith from Wells Fargo Insurance Services.

Gene Thompson, vice president of Kokosing Construction Co., the featured speaker at the event, talked about concerns for highway funding for West Virginia and Virginia.

He lobbies the Legislature and in Congress and has served for years on the West Virginia State Contractor License Board. 

He is immediate past president of the Contractors Association of West Virginia as well as chairman of the Contractors Association of West Virginia Scholarship Foundation.
