Cabell Midland senior running back David Gaydosz signed his National Letter of Intent to play college football at Coastal Carolina on Thursday.

In 2012, he rushed for more than 2,000 yards and scored 26 touchdowns for the Knights.

He helped lead Cabell Midland to the AAA state championship game for the first time in school history, but the Knights eventually lost to Martinsburg.

Gaydosz picked Coastal Carolina over Akron and Robert Morris because it felt more like home.
