The Capitol Steps comedy troupe say they are "the only group in America that attempts to be funnier than Congress" and they are coming to the Clay Center at 7:30 p.m. April 7.

The group will perform their song parodies and skits in their show "Take the Money and Run — for president," the Clay Center announced.

The group began when a group of Senate staffers sat out to satirize the very people who employed them the Clay Center news release states.

Tickets for The Capitol Steps are $15, $25 and $35 and can be purchased online at

www.theclaycenter.org, in person at the Clay Center box office or by phone at 304-561-3570.
