IRONTON -

UPDATE 

One man is dead after crashing his car into a utility pole Thursday morning in Hanging Rock. 

Troopers with the Ohio State Highway Patrol tell 13News Donald H. Clark, 68, of Ironton lost control of his vehicle while driving northbound on State Route 650. 

Troopers are not sure why Clark lost control of his vehicle. 

A man who lived nearby tells 13News he saw the crash and went to help the victim but it was too late. 

The crash is still under investigation. 

 


 

ORIGINAL STORY

One person is dead after a crash in Lawrence County Thursday morning. 

Dispatchers with the Ohio State Highway Patrol tell 13News they receive a call the crash happened at 9:25 a.m. on Route 650, just north of Pigeon Hollow Road.

Dispatchers said they do not know how the crash happened. No other cars were involved.
