Gallipolis meth bust puts two behind bars

GALLIPOLIS, Ohio -

Two men are now behind bars after officers found a meth lab in Gallipolis Wednesday night. 

Matthew White, 22, and Joshua Morrison, 18, both of Gallipolis were taken into custody after officers with the Gallipolis Police Department and the Sheriff's Department responded to a tip about a meth lab on Third Avenue. 

Deputies tell 13News there were two active meth labs. 

White and Morrison were taken to the Gallia County Jail. White was charged with illegal manufacture of drugs, Morrison was charged with possession of drug abuse instruments. 

A technician was called in to neutralize all the chemicals, according to a release from Gallipolis Police.
