The U.S. Small Business Administration will co-sponsor a workshop on how to start rebuilding good credit.

Crystal Kudlak, a consumer credit counselor with Apprisen, will review getting credit reports for free and will explain how to read and understand a credit report, how to dispute errors and how to rebuild good credit.

Immediately following the workshop, Kudlak will hold short one-on-one sessions with attendees.

The workshop will take place on Tuesday, Apr. 18 from noon to 1 p.m. at Unlimited Futures at 1650 8th Avenue in Huntington.

The workshop is free and open to the public. Register online at www.wvscore.org.

"Having good credit is essential in getting financial assistance to start a new business or expand a current business," said Judy McCauley, director of SBA's West Virginia District Office. "This workshop is a great opportunity to learn how to start rebuilding good credit and I encourage everyone interested to take advantage of this free workshop."
